Kathleen’s passion for hotel revenue management shows in the Two Roads Hospitality portfolio’s consistently positive year-over-year market share growth. She has a unique ability in understanding people’s strengths and lining them up with hotel needs, ensuring that the overall revenue team is set up to drive optimal market share. Always nimble, she has a strong sense of when and how to quickly apply changes needed to guarantee continued success. Change management has become a big part of her job over the years and ensuring that the company continues to remain on the cutting edge of revenue management and distribution.
Kathleen brings over 25 years of experience throughout the multi-faceted hospitality industry to her role at Two Roads Hospitality. Her experience ranges from consulting, authoring of professional publications, and working on property to varying positions in the corporate office of a dynamic, faced-paced, global hotel company.
As Senior Vice President of Revenue & Distribution for Two Roads Hospitality, she is charged with the overall revenue strategies and increasing hotel market share for the portfolio, as well as optimizing the company’s revenue management foundation for all brands, including the organizational set up, expert human resources and deployment, technology platform, tools and connectivity.
In addition to her day job, Kathleen has been an active member of HSMAI since 2005, serving as the Chair for the Revenue Management Advisory Board in 2014 and 2015. She is also the author of the first best-selling industry revenue management publication, “Defining Revenue Management: Top Line to Bottom Line,” published by HSMAI in 2006;as well as two editions of “Evolving Dynamics of Revenue Management,” published in 2010 and 2015.
The publications serve as the official study guide for the industry recognized revenue management certification offered by HSMAI – CRME (Certified Revenue Management Executive). They are also used as the curriculum in Universities such as Cornell University, NYU and Michigan State University.
Kathleen earned her B.S. from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts, has received certificates in “Hotel Yield Management” from Horand Vogel and Associates, and “E-Business Strategy” from the University of Chicago. The mother of three, she resides with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
